Fowler Center The local organizing committee
extends a warm welcome to everyone attending this year’s meeting in
the fast growing city of Jonesboro.
It has been said that if you get at least one good research idea
at an event, the effort to attend has been worthwhile.
Here is your opportunity to give and receive those ideas for the
benefit of science in our State. We
encourage you to renew your associations with old colleagues and
establish new relationships. May
you benefit from the multidisciplinary nature of the Arkansas Academy to
learn something new and teach others of your own interests.
For those traveling, we hope that you have a safe trip and
pleasant stay in Jonesboro. Please
take time to stroll around campus and visit our facilities and
departments during your stay. Among
our personal favorites are the Pavilion, the new ABI Biotechnology
Center and the newly completed Reng Student Center.
The 2004 AAS Local Arrangements
Committee extends it gratitude to the many associates who have
volunteered their assistance with this meeting.
Thank You! to all of the program chairs, session moderators, and
judges who have contributed to the success of this Academy meeting. 2004 AAS Local Arrangements Committee James C. Bednarz
