Sodium Percarbonate
(Na2CO3 +3H2O2) is a powerful
all purpose cleaner. It is used in laundering as a substitute for
chlorine bleach because it will not weaken fabrics. In the chemical
formula we see hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and sodium
carbonate (Na2CO3). The hydrogen peroxide is
a good oxidizing agent when it breaks down to water and oxygen (2H2O
+ O2). This product can also be used for carpets, tile,
grout, wood decks, siding, lawn furniture, and for general cleaning.
