Sodium Percarbonate (Na₂CO₃ +3H₂O₂) is a powerful all purpose cleaner.  It is used in laundering as a substitute for chlorine bleach because it will not weaken fabrics.  In the chemical formula we see hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) and sodium carbonate (Na₂CO₃).  The hydrogen peroxide is a good oxidizing agent when it breaks down to water and oxygen (2H₂O + O₂).  This product can also be used for carpets, tile, grout, wood decks, siding, lawn furniture, and for general cleaning.
