Vitamin E

Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin and it is an important anti-oxidant which protects against lipid peroxidation. This protects your cells from the effects of free radicals that may prevent the development of cancer. Also, research displays that vitamin E may help prevent or delay coronary heart disease and possibly help prevent or delay cataract growth.Vitamin E has also been shown to play a role in DNA repair, in immune function, and other metabolic processes. Vitamin E can be commonly found in foods such as vegetable oils, nuts, green leafy vegetables, and fortified cereals.
