Vitamin A is a fat soluble vitamin.  Vitamin A comes from animal sources such as eggs and meat.  A good source of Vitamin A is found in milk, cheese, and liver.  Vitamin A in skim milk has to be added.  Vitamin A helps in the formation and maintenance of healthy teeth, skeletal and soft tissue, mucous membranes and skin.  If you have a Vitamin A deficiency can increase the susceptibility to infectious diseases. You can also have night blindness and dry skin. You can take vitamin supplements, if you feel that you are lacking vitamin A.  If you get too large of a dose of Vitamin A, it can be toxic.  Like all drugs take with caution
