Polymyxin B Sulfate


     Polymyxin B Sulfate is used in several everyday products.  You have probably used them many times as a anti-bacterial in order to fight against infection and faster healing for cuts and scrapes.  Polymyxin B Sulfate is found in a wide variety of health and wellness products, like neosporin, and other antibiotic ointments.  These products are sold over the counter and are proven to be very effective in quick and easier healing.

      Polymyxin B Sulfate when used in antibiotic ointment is used primarially on scrapes and cuts.  You should clean the wound and dry off, then apply a generous amount of ointment to problem area.  You should reapply daily at least, or every time you bathe or shower. 

      There are a few side effects such as: if these symptoms occur seek immediate medical attention:  body as a whole, itching & swelling.  Minor symptoms include (need no medical attention unless they become annoying)   eyes, ears, nose, & throat,  momentary blurring of vision from the ophthalmic ointment.
