Each student will prepare a web page describing a specific job that can be done by a chemist. The page must include two images related to the type of job (you may include more than two images). A description of the job must also be included, including how chemistry is important for that job. If possible, you may want to find a person and interview them about their job. All references must be listed, and a "page prepared by: Your Name" must be at the bottom of the page. Any references/ images taken from the web must be linked to the page the information was taken from. There must be a link back to the index page at the bottom as well.
The class must decide on the title for the project. Every page must have exactly the same title: font, font size, color, etc. The title must include the word chemistry or chemical and be related to the theme "the many faces of chemistry", and is to be decided by the class. The pages must be uniform in the font and font size. Backgrounds and colors will be left to the individual, but pages must be readable. Pages must be prepared using FrontPage.
Even though the pages are made by individuals, this is a class project. Duplications will result in a sharing of the grade. For example if two people choose the same position/ job, each person will get a maximum of 25 points, instead of the possible 50 points.
When you are finished with your
page, turn in a disk with your web page and the two (or more) images.
No other files can be on this disk.
