National Chemistry Week
October 16-22, 2005
"The Joy of Toys"

Each student will prepare a page for a specific compound found in a specific toy.  The page must include two images: a structure of the molecule and a picture of the toy (you may include more than two images).  A description of the compound's properties should be included.  All references must be listed, and a page prepared by: Your Name must be at the bottom of the page.  Any references/ images taken from the web must be linked to the page the information was taken from.

The class must decide on the title for the project.  Every page must have exactly the same title: font, font size, color, etc. The title must include the word chemistry or chemical and be related to the theme "the joys of toys", and is to be decided by the class. The pages must be uniform in the font and font size.  Backgrounds and colors will be left to the individual, but pages must be readable.

Even though the pages are made by individuals, this is a class project.

When you are finished with your page, turn in a disk with your webpage, the two images. No other files can be on this disk.
