Chemistry Keeps Us Healthy
Lycopene is a powerful antioxidant. Abundant in tomatoes, it is what gives them their red color. People who have a diet rich in tomatoes, or tomato based products, seem to have a lower incidence of certain cancers, especially prostate, lung and stomach. Lycopene has also been associated with lowering the rate of heart disease and other serious illnesses.
Lycopene is abundant in tomatoes, making it easily accessible and affordable.
