How does benzoyl peroxide relate to health and wellness?

Benzoyl Peroxide is a topical antibiotic used in the treatment of acne.  It helps prevent pimples and clogged pores.  It also drys the water out of pores.  It is perhaps the most common treatment for acne and can be taken from 6 six weeks to many years without side effects.  Common side effects include, redness and dry skin.
