| Ranitidine is found in Zantac. It is used to decrease the amount of acid the stomach produces. If your stomach produces a lot of acid, it will cause it to come up into the esophagus and the effect is heartburn. It also is used to treat or prevent ulcers in the stomach and intestines. |
