Dr. Charles Gale*

Abstract: One of the aims of nuclear collisions at relativistic
energies is the study of matter under extreme conditions. We will review
what photons and lepton pairs have taught us about this, and outline what
is in store for the future.
*Dr. Charles Gale is a professor of physics at McGill University. Dr. Gale received his Ph.D. in 1986 from McGill University. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Minnesota and Chalk River Laboratory before joining the faculty at McGill University in 1989.
