Aspirin

Aspirin is one of the cheapest and safest pain relievers with over one hundred years of proven and effective treatment for a variety of ailments. It is the active ingredient in more than fifty over-the-counter medications. Aspirin is in a class of drugs called salicylates. It reduces inflammation, fever, and pain. Also, under medical supervision it can be used to treat and/or prevent in certain individuals heart attacks, transient ischemic attacks (TIAs or "mini-strokes"), strokes, and angina.
