Degree Requirements

BS Chemistry | BA Chemistry | BS Physics | BSE Chemistry | BSE Physics | Chemistry Minor

All students should have an assigned advisor when they enter their degree program.  If you do not know who your advisor is please contact the department secretary or University registrar for guidance.

You may switch advisors as you move through the program.  In order to declare a new advisor or switch advisors please contact the department secretary.

For information about tuition, financial aid, etc. visit the University registrar or Web for Students.

The course sequences for Chemistry and Physics majors are designed so that students can complete their degree in four years upon matriculating in the University.  All students should obtain a copy of their degree checksheet (click links below for PDF versions of the checksheets) and follow the outline of this sheet to ensure that you complete the degree requirements on time.  Your advisor will need to see this checksheet and may retain a copy for your records.  It is your responsibility to meet with your advisor at least once per semester to ensure progress towards your degree.
