Lab of Honor

The Arkansas State University Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society would like to recognize those who have made outstanding contributions to our organization through their extraordinary efforts and contributions, through their selflessness and giving.  We honor those inducted into our Lab of Honor.
 
 
Dr. Ben Rougeau (Arkansas State University) - Always willing to help whenever possible, Ben is the model ACS member.  As a student, Ben was ACS,SA president three years in a row in the early 90's and was the driving force behind the 1991 Phoenix Award for our project "Arkansas' Largest Edible Periodic Table".  He helped designed and build the NCW display featuring a large distillation apparatus out of Christmas tree lights.  He continues to be active in our ACS,SA group.  Inducted: September 29, 2003

Dr. Mark Draganjac (Arkansas State University) - ACS advisor for 10+ years, always willing to challenge the students and help whenever possible.  Dr. D. came up with the idea for the 1991 Phoenix Award winning project "Arkansas' Largest Edible Periodic Table".  Along with Ben Rougeau, he helped designed and build the NCW display featuring a large distillation apparatus out of Christmas tree lights.  Other projects can be seen on our webpages.
